Challenge: Sheffield Theatres challenged us to offer exciting, competitive and flexible digital out-of-home solutions citywide to boost awareness and ticket sales.

Solution: With varying theatre productions come varying audience demographics, so we provided a selection of Sheffield screens alongside a flexible ‘call off’ booking basis. This allowed pre-ordered packages on screens to be chosen as and when each production required. With flexible artwork changes, real time updates for each production, priority short notice bookings and strategic targeting of commuters through commuter am/pm slots, we made it possible to target the right audience, at the right time, sometimes at short notice.

Results: Our new site locations were praised by Sheffield Theatres as offering great reach, generating additional interest when compared to previous digital and paper campaigns. Following success on our D48 sites, they booked our Meadowhall Mega 6 large format screen along with other large format screens and have committed to our sites long term for every relevant production (campaigns so far include Wizard of Oz, Mother Goose, This House and Sunset Boulevard).
